MY APPROACH
Therapy with clarity and direction

You don’t need to know exactly what to call the problem before seeking help. Challenges don’t always fit neatly into a single category. That’s why I start with you and your situation - and the change you would like to make.
Therapy tailored to you
Together, we continuously consider what is most important to work on. The pace, focus and methods of our sessions are tailored specifically to you.
From understanding to change
We explore both what lies behind your difficulties and what keeps you stuck today. With that understanding as our starting point, we identify concrete steps you can take towards greater clarity and well-being.

THEMES IN THERAPY
Areas I often work with
I offer therapy for mental disorders and other difficulties that can affect daily life, relationships and quality of life. Below are some of the areas I often work with - always with your situation as the starting point.
You can keep everyday life running and still be under too much pressure. Some people get used to keeping the pace up, skipping breaks, and only react when body or mind finally pushes back. What you can manage is not always the same as what is sustainable.
COMMON EXPERIENCES:
-
Difficulty switching off
- Sleep problems
- Fear of making mistakes
-
Racing thoughts and restlessness
-
Pressure to meet others' expectations
-
When you feel low or are going through a difficult period, it often becomes harder to do the things that normally give you energy. You may withdraw more and get less out of what you still do. Sometimes life can hurt, stall or make it difficult to find your footing.
COMMON EXPERIENCES:
-
Hopelessness and self-criticism
- Diminished excitement
-
Lack of meaning
-
Feeling stuck
-
Rumination
-
It's never quite good enough. There is always something that should be different: appearance, achievements, dating life or how you relate to others. Even when things go well, satisfaction can be short-lived – and yesterday’s achievement becomes today’s bare minimum. Results and other people’s opinions take over, leaving you with the expectations and criticism.
COMMON EXPERIENCES:
-
Dissatisfaction with yourself
-
Need for validation
-
Comparing yourself with others
-
Self-criticism as motivation
-
People-pleasing
-
Anxiety is a basic part of the system that helps us detect and deal with danger. Problems arise when the alarm response is triggered repeatedly in situations where the threat is uncertain or exaggerated. Worry and preparation can create a sense of control, but can also reinforce the feeling that you cannot cope without them.
COMMON EXPERIENCES
-
Overthinking
- Avoidance
-
Need for control
-
Physical unease
-
Social self-consciousness
-
It can be frustrating to know exactly what you want to do and still struggle to get started or keep going. The problem is not necessarily a lack of willpower. For many, the difficulty lies in turning intention into action – especially when a task feels overwhelming, boring, distant or unrewarding.
COMMON EXPERIENCES:
- Difficulty getting started
-
Procrastination
-
Feeling stuck
-
Fluctuating motivation
-
Choosing the easy over the important
Difficulties in relationships are not always only about the person in front of you. The way we seek closeness, respond to uncertainty and protect ourselves from rejection can create patterns that repeat across relationships. Sometimes our attempts to avoid being hurt end up getting in the way of the closeness we want.
COMMON EXPERIENCES:
-
Unclear or one-sided relationships
-
Arguments
-
Repeating relationship patterns
-
Desperation or withdrawal
- Feelings of emptiness

ABOUT ME
A psychologist with depth and presence
In my work, I am particularly interested in understanding what lies behind the difficulties that begin to take up too much space in everyday life - and what can help create movement and change.
_edited_edited.jpg)
I have particular experience with anxiety, stress and depression, as well as difficulties related to ADHD and motivation. I also work with more complex and less clear-cut difficulties, where several factors interact.
When we talk, you can expect me not only to listen, but also to take an active role with questions, perspectives and observations along the way. In my sessions, I value a relaxed and informal atmosphere - without compromising on professionalism.
