I do not offer formal assessment or diagnosis of mental disorders at this time. However, I am happy to work with issues related to, for example, ADHD and autism, regardless of whether you already have a diagnosis or are simply experiencing symptoms and challenges that you would like to learn more about. If there is a suspicion along the way that an actual assessment might be relevant, we can talk about it and about the possibilities of being assessed elsewhere.

At this time, I do not offer couples therapy.Dating and romantic relationships are areas I regularly work with in individual therapy, and I have extensive professional experience with these topics. However, couples therapy is substantially different format from individual therapy. Consequently, I will offer couples therapy once I have more thoroughly familiarized myself with the specific methods and literature of couples therapy.I expect to offer couples therapy sometime in early 2027.

Yes. By arrangement, you can bring a guest to a conversation, such as a parent, partner or other relative. This may be relevant, for example, if you need support or reassurance, if the person can contribute relevant perspectives, or if there is something you would like to have the opportunity to talk about together during the conversation. The therapy will still be directed toward you, and the inclusion therefore does not turn the conversations into couples or family therapy. My legal duty of confidentiality still applies, so I will not extraordinarily share information about your inquiry or process with the guest beyond what is specifically discussed while they are participating.

Yes. You can freely switch between physical and online conversations in between sessions when you make an appointment. For example, it may be practical to choose online if you are not in the Aarhus area, or if you are staying elsewhere in Denmark (or abroad) for a period of time. You can also choose to start online and later meet physically - or vice versa.

I accept young people from 15 years of age and adults of all ages.I work with people in different stages of life and with many different themes and challenges, so you are welcome to bring up the specific situation you are in.For young people between 15 and 17 years of age, there are some special rules regarding information and involvement of parents, which we clarify in connection with the start-up.

It varies a lot from person to person. Some issues can be resolved or improved significantly in just a few sessions, while a shorter course of treatment may, for example, extend over 8–12 sessions. More complex or long-term issues may require a longer course.Early in the process, we talk about what you would like to achieve through the conversations and what a realistic course might be. Along the way, we continuously follow up on whether the conversations are helping and whether there is a need to continue or change the frequency of the conversations.I am not interested in dragging out a process longer than necessary. My goal is that you get the help you need and that together we find a suitable time to end or possibly move to more sporadic follow-ups.
