Booking and formation of the agreement
You can book an appointment through the online booking system or by direct agreement with Psykolog Patrick Batiste.
When booking online, you select the service, date and time and are shown the applicable price before completing the booking. A booking is completed when the appointment has been confirmed in the booking system and you receive a booking confirmation.
When booking online, these Terms and Conditions must be accepted before the booking can be completed.
The price and terms applicable to an appointment that has already been confirmed are not affected by later changes to prices or these Terms and Conditions.
Prices
Current prices are shown on the website and in the booking system. The applicable price for a service is displayed before booking.
Online sessions are offered at the same price as corresponding sessions at the clinic.
Psykolog Patrick Batiste may change prices for future bookings and purchases. Price changes do not affect appointments that have already been confirmed.
Student discount
The student discount is available to clients who are currently enrolled at a recognised Danish educational institution, for example STX, HTX, HF, university or a comparable programme.
You may be asked to provide documentation of current enrolment, such as a valid student ID with a photograph or other relevant documentation.
If the requirements for the student discount are not met, the ordinary price for the relevant service applies.
Free initial consultation
New clients may, during the introductory period, book a free and non-binding initial consultation when this option is available in the booking system.
The offer is temporary and may be changed or discontinued for future bookings. An already confirmed free initial consultation will remain free of charge for the session itself.
The ordinary cancellation and missed-appointment rules described below also apply to free initial consultations.
Payment
When booking online, you may choose between the payment methods available for the selected service.
When paying by payment card through EasyPay, the amount may be reserved on the card in connection with the booking. The reservation is subsequently charged or released in accordance with completion of the appointment and the applicable cancellation rules.
If you choose to pay after the session, payment is normally made via MobilePay.
Payment by invoice or bank transfer may be used by separate agreement.
If a cancellation or missed-appointment fee is payable under these Terms and Conditions, the amount due may, where applicable, be charged against an existing payment reservation.
Cancellation and rescheduling
An appointment must be cancelled or rescheduled no later than 24 hours before the scheduled start time in order to avoid a charge.
If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before its scheduled start time, a fee of DKK 450 is charged.
Cancellation can be made through the booking system where this option is available or by contacting Psykolog Patrick Batiste.
If an appointment is booked less than 24 hours before its scheduled start time, it may not be technically possible for the client to cancel it directly through the booking system. If you realise immediately after booking that you have selected the wrong time by mistake, please contact me immediately. Later changes or cancellations are subject to the ordinary cancellation rules.
Missed appointments
If you do not attend an appointment and have not cancelled it, the full price of the booked service is charged.
For a free initial consultation, a fee of DKK 450 is charged if the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time or if you fail to attend without cancelling.
For appointments booked using a session package, failure to attend without cancelling counts as one used session.
Psykolog Patrick Batiste may, following an individual assessment, choose to waive all or part of a cancellation or missed-appointment fee. Such a waiver does not create a right to a similar waiver for future appointments.
Session Bundle
A five-session bundle consists of five individual 50-minute sessions.
The bundle is personal, cannot be transferred to another person, and is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
The ordinary cancellation and missed-appointment rules also apply to appointments booked using a session bundle.
Late cancellation is subject to a fee of DKK 450. Failure to attend without cancelling counts as one used session.
Any mandatory statutory rights concerning withdrawal, repayment or redemption are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.
Right of withdrawal for online bookings
Where an agreement is entered into online or otherwise at a distance, the rules on the right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act apply where the relevant conditions are met.
For services, the withdrawal period is generally 14 days from the date on which the agreement is entered into.
If you wish a paid service to be provided before the withdrawal period has expired, the law requires an express request to this effect. Once the service has been fully provided following such a request and the required acknowledgement, the right of withdrawal ends in accordance with the applicable rules.
If you exercise the right of withdrawal after performance of the service has begun at your express request, payment may, in accordance with applicable law, be required for the part of the service that has already been provided.
The statutory right of withdrawal exists independently of the ordinary cancellation rules described above. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not restricted by these Terms and Conditions.
How to exercise the right of withdrawal
If you wish to exercise a statutory right of withdrawal, you must provide a clear statement before the applicable deadline expires that you wish to withdraw from the agreement.

Cancellation by the practice
If Psykolog Patrick Batiste has to cancel an appointment, no payment will be charged for the cancelled session.
Any relevant payment reservation will be released, or payment already made will be refunded where applicable. A new appointment may then be arranged or booked.
